Bogotá, D.C., May 03 2017. - The CENTER FOR ORINOCO STUDIES at Universidad de los Andes has been working on generating impact in the Orinoco region since 2013 and is interested in inviting students from the Orinoco region to form the first Student Think Tank.
The think tank aimed at presenting, researching and exploring the realities of the Orinoco region, will provide tools (debates, newsletter, opinion columns, videos, among others) for the exhaustive recognition of our country where the participation of the young will be an important piece of the puzzle to the contribution of viable solutions from academia.
We want students from all semesters to explore the existence of the problems (social, political, economic, and environmental) that affect our territories and with their ideas and proposals foster reflection and transformation.
The purpose of this Center is to articulate the critical and transformational vision of Uniandes students’ who, through different forms of expression, wish to contribute to the development of the Orinoco region.
We invite you to fill out the form and receive information about the think tank.
